Arete Scholarship

Arete Scholars is a scholarship program that exists to help under-resourced children reach their highest potential through educational opportunity. Through private contributions from corporate and philanthropic partners, Arete awards need-based K-12 scholarships and empowers parents to place their children in schools that best suit their unique gifts and learning needs.

• Arete Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis with scholarship limits averaging $4,400 for K-8 students and $4,950 for grades 9-12.
• This is a wonderful opportunity to offer children and families, who would never be able to afford Catholic/private school, a chance to attend and potentially change a child’s life forever. We are asking our JGS families to help us find children who will thrive in our school environment that meet these eligibility requirements. You may know of children that attend your church or sports activities that would qualify. Please know that potential students and families must meet all requirements set forth by Arete and by JGS School including, but not limited to, a recent report card, attendance record, recent standardized test scores and disciplinary record/conduct grade.
