Welcome back to school! The PTO has been working hard this summer to get ready for an exciting new school year to begin! The annual used uniform sale in July was a huge success, thanks to the efforts of Chair - Leslie Trahan and her committe of volunteers. A big thank you goes out to Vickie Mellino, Caroline Brockman, Therese Nagem, Emily Nunnelee, Andree Eddleman, Katherine High, Amanda Smith, Rebecca Leaumont, Jaclyn Hall and Molly Claire West.

We would like to extend a big thank you to Jason Wegener, who has volunteered to be the Dads' Club PResident this year and many thanks to Amy, Adyson, & Remy Crick, Megan & Madison Shelby, Amy & Zeina Fakhre and Blair Ramey who helped distribute the school supply packs to the classrooms this summer.

The August Back to School Bash was a success due to the hard work of some of our PTO volunteers including Amy Fakhre, Sadye RIchert, Lillian Paxton, Susan Hopper, Tara McEnery, Jaclyn Hall, Megan Shelby, Katie Dean and Miranda Hemrick. They worked extremely hard to give our JGS families a big welcome back celebration.

Please keep in mind that the JGS ANNUAL FUND will replace ALL of our previous fall fundraising events! Your generosity in the form of a tax deductible donation to the JGS Annual Fund will afford us the opportunity to provide teacher retention, tuition assistance and campus improvements. Please be sure to fill out the JGS Annual Fund donor card that you received in the mail. This year there is a new option to make your donation online! They are also available on the school website, at the school and church offices as well as in the Gathering Space of the church. If you need more information regarding the JGS Annual Fund, please do not hesitate to give us a call!

Be on the lookout for information about our FALL FESTIVAL this year that will take place on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 5:30-8:30PM on the JGS campus. There will be even more amusement rides, class carnival booths, a silent auction in the gym, a country store and much, much more. This is sure to be loads of fun for the entire family!

Be on the lookout for your PTO volunteer forms that will be coming home next week. Please fill those out and return no later than Wednesday, August 29! Without the volunteerism of our parents, none of these events would be possible! A big thank you to all of those who have already volunteered their time and effort!
