Fall is in the air! That means three things...Grandparents' Day, Book Fair and the JGS Fall Festival are coming soon!

The 4th Annual JGS Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, October 27th from 5:30-8:30pm. We will have amusement rides, class game booths, music, food provided by the Dad's Club, the Country Store, great silent auction packages, and new to the line-up this year - Bingo & Beer in Moore Hall! Our Fall Festival chairs and their committee of dedicated volunteers & room mothers have been in full swing planning this celebration and it is sure to be another great evening of family fun!!!

The JGS Annual Fund is coming along nicely thanks to our generous JGS families, friends, and parishioners. It's not too late to make your donation or pledge (all donations are 100% tax deductible). Also, new this year is the availability of corporate sponsorship opportunities for businesses interested in sponosring the Fall Festival celebration. All sponsorships come with signage, benefits at the event as well as recognition in Bayou Life Magazine, the Ram Reader and other school social media platforms. Sponsorships help to ensure the JGS Annual Fund proceeds remain to be utilized for school technology, teacher retention, campus maintenance and other important school needs.

This year Grandparents' Day will be held on Friday, October 26th, starting at 12:30pm with the 3rd-6th grade performance in the JGS church, followed by PK3-2nd grade at 1:45pm. Our dedicated chairs, Susan Hopper & Jaclyn Hall, along with their committee are busy planning a special day for our great JGS grandparents. We will start off the celebration with a special performance in the church followed by the JGS Boor Fair, Country Store and reception in the gym. Don't forget to have your picture taken at one of our three photo booths before you leave! We also would like to remind you that our Book Fair will be going on in the gym Tuesday - Friday (Oct. 23-26) at certain times. This year the book fair will be chaired by Tara McEnery and facilitated by her amazing team of volunteers! Please share with grandparents that they are welcome, as well as you, to come during the week and shope while it is a little less crowded. We look forward to welcoming all of our JGS grandparents to campus on the 26th!

Please continue to pray for our wonderful school and we truly hope to see you at our upcoming events.

Sincere Blessings,

Lillian Paxton & Sadye Richert, PTO Co-Presidents

Susan Hopper, PTO Vice President
